About the role#
Join the Advanced Mask Development Group to support wafer process development through Optical Proximity Correction and Resolution Enhancement Techniques. You will work alongside experienced engineers to explore the intersection of AI agents and advanced RET techniques. This role focuses on optimizing reticle design strategies and improving process windows for semiconductor manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Study photolithography modeling theory and simulation methodology.
- Build AI workflows and programs for RET/OPC tasks.
- Develop automated scripts to improve the efficiency of current methodologies.
- Collaborate on hands-on projects with the Photolithography group.
- Create a document of Best Known Methods based on your learning and data analysis.
- Identify new opportunities for process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science.
- Graduation date must be on or after September 1, 2027.
- Understanding of lithography and microfabrication concepts.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in multi-tasking and driving complex projects.
- Preferred: Knowledge of optics, Linux/Unix, MATLAB, and scripting languages like Python or Perl.
