    About the role#

    This internship focuses on the design and development of real-time software for digital communications and audio systems. You will join the global Digital Signal Processing team in Plantation, Florida, to contribute to the software architecture for our two-way radio products. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team to analyze, design, and implement real-time software for DSP algorithms and low-level device drivers.
    • Work alongside team members in a multi-site, global development environment.
    • Identify, track, and fix software defects.
    • Create and execute various tests, including unit, integration, system, load, and acceptance testing.

    What you'll need#

    • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical & Computer Engineering.
    • You have a grasp of the fundamentals of Digital Signal Processing or Digital Communication.
    • Experience with C/C++ is a plus.
    • Familiarity with Machine Learning, Matlab, Python, or Perl is beneficial.
    • Experience with real-time embedded software, Linux, or version control systems like Git is a plus.
    • Knowledge of embedded development and debug tools, such as emulators or JTAG, is helpful.
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills are valued.

    • This role is located on-site in Plantation, Florida.
    • This is a full-time internship for Summer 2027.
