About the role#
Nebo is looking for a Social Media Video Editor Intern to join our Social Media team. This role involves creating video content for real brands. You will collaborate with the team to develop video concepts, scripts, and shot lists. This is a paid, part-time internship requiring 10 to 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Transform raw footage and scripts into Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts.
- Edit content using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, and Canva.
- Apply platform-specific best practices to create polished content.
- Iterate on projects based on feedback and performance insights.
- Develop shot lists, scripts, and video concepts.
- Manage 1 to 3 business-day turnarounds for editing tasks.
What you'll need#
- Strong video editing skills and storytelling ability.
- Understanding of short-form content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and openness to feedback.
- Passion for staying current on social trends and platform updates.
- A portfolio including video edited for organizations or brands.
- Current enrollment in majors such as Communications, Graphic Design, Media Studies, Marketing, or Computer Science.
