About the role#
This paid summer internship provides hands-on training and a foundation for students to apply their academic knowledge in the oil and gas industry. You will work closely with an experienced mentor, complete an assigned project, and contribute to company operations. This is a full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical and economic analysis to help define development strategies.
- Design drilling programs and implement procedures to access underground resources.
- Oversee the design and execution of completions operations, including well planning and stimulation.
- Evaluate well performance and develop techniques to improve production rates and reduce costs.
- Design and maintain gathering and processing facilities like pipelines and compressor stations.
- Interpret raw data using statistics and multi-variate techniques to support business decisions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in a Bachelors program for Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering.
- Enrollment status must be maintained through December 2027.
- Availability to work from May 17 to August 5, 2027.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Strong academic standing is preferred.
- Note that this is a safety-sensitive position subject to random drug and alcohol screening.

- Locations: Denver, Colorado; Midland, Texas; and The Woodlands, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $35.00 - $50.48 per hour, depending on your year in school.
