About the role#
The Valuation internship program offers students an introduction to investment banking and advisory services. You will work alongside project teams on business valuation, ESOP advisory, and corporate finance assignments. This role is based in our Chicago office to support team collaboration and mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Prepare client deliverables such as valuation reports, presentations, and confidential marketing materials.
- Conduct research on various industries and economic trends.
- Assist with valuation modeling projects, including discounted cash flow, comparable company analysis, transaction screening, and LBO modeling.
- Participate in internal meetings and project discussions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Completed coursework in Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, or Economics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines within a team environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: This is an on-site position requiring 20 to 30 hours per week.
- Compensation: $21 to $23 per hour.
- Requirements: Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
