About the role#
Qorvo is hiring an RFIC Design Engineer Intern to join our team in Chelmsford. This is a full-time, paid internship for students currently pursuing advanced degrees. You will work on projects within our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, or Connectivity and Sensors business groups.
What you'll do#
- Specify, design, analyze, and simulate RF and analog/mixed-signal integrated circuits.
- Implement RF blocks including Power Amplifiers, LNAs, RF Switches, Phase Shifters, and Attenuators.
- Calculate and simulate the effects of parasitics using Electro-Magnetic simulation tools.
- Support hardware assembly, testing, and debugging in a laboratory environment.
- Summarize your work and present findings in written and verbal reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MS or PhD program for Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Coursework or practical experience in RF/Analog circuit design.
- Proficiency in circuit layout using Cadence Virtuoso.
- Knowledge of RF simulation tools like Cadence Spectre/SpectreRF, ADS, FEM, Momentum, and Cadence Dynamic Link.
