About the role#
The Product Engineering Intern role at Qorvo focuses on the manufacturing of advanced RFIC products. You will work within our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, or Connectivity and Sensors business groups. This position provides hands-on experience in a professional semiconductor manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Identify yield improvement opportunities in RFIC manufacturing.
- Conduct data analysis, mining, and extraction using statistical methods.
- Write data analysis routines in Python, incorporating AI and Machine Learning approaches.
- Coordinate with Design, Manufacturing, Test, Applications, Project Management, and Quality Engineering teams to validate your findings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program for Electrical Engineering or a dual degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques like CPK, SPC, and ANOVA.
- Coding experience, specifically with Python and Spark SQL.
- Familiarity with RF measurement equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
- Understanding of power amplifiers and LNAs is preferred.
