About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in our South Florida offices, supporting teams in areas including Aviation, ITS, Traffic, Transit, Tolls, and Construction. Please note that relocation and housing assistance are not provided for this position.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering teams with daily tasks and project duties.
- Assist engineers with the research, development, and design of projects.
- Help prepare engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Handle other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace).
- A basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to perform basic engineering calculations and organize information for project documents.
- A willingness to accept and apply direction from peers and supervisors.
- Familiarity with introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures.
We prefer candidates who have completed at least two years of an engineering program. Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation and a strong interest in transportation and infrastructure are also preferred.
