About the role#
HNTB is seeking an Environmental Planning Intern for the Summer 2027 term in Houston, Texas. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship. You will work under close supervision to support our project teams with various assignments in science and planning.
What you'll do#
- Assist project team members with day-to-day support tasks.
- Conduct basic research and gather data for ongoing projects.
- Maintain project records, collections, and files.
- Help develop graphics, presentation materials, and reports.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a related undergraduate or graduate program.
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Planning, or a related field.
- A strong interest in civil engineering and transportation.

- Location: Houston, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027.
