    About the role#

    HNTB is hiring a Co-op Water Resources Scientist for the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms. This is a paid, part-time position based in our Indiana offices. You will work under close supervision to support our science and planning departments on various infrastructure projects.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist project team members with day-to-day support tasks.
    • Conduct basic research and gather data for ongoing projects.
    • Maintain project files, records, and collections.
    • Help create graphics, reports, and presentation materials.
    • Complete other duties as assigned by the team.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program related to Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Biology.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
    • Familiarity with GIS software.

    Location & details#

    • This role is located in Indianapolis and Westfield, Indiana.
    • The work modality is on-site.
    • This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
