About the role#
HNTB is hiring a Co-op Water Resources Scientist for the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms. This is a paid, part-time position based in our Indiana offices. You will work under close supervision to support our science and planning departments on various infrastructure projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist project team members with day-to-day support tasks.
- Conduct basic research and gather data for ongoing projects.
- Maintain project files, records, and collections.
- Help create graphics, reports, and presentation materials.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program related to Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Biology.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
- Familiarity with GIS software.

- This role is located in Indianapolis and Westfield, Indiana.
- The work modality is on-site.
