About the role#
This co-op position offers students the chance to work on infrastructure projects within our Roadway, Water Resources, or Bridge departments. You will assist our engineering teams with daily tasks, research, and project development. This is a full-time, paid opportunity for the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering teams with various project tasks.
- Assist with the research, development, and design of projects.
- Prepare engineering drawings and documents.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to accept and apply direction from supervisors and peers.
- Understanding of introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures.
- Ability to perform basic engineering calculations and organize information for documents.

- Locations: Indianapolis, IN and Westfield, IN.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Fall 2026 and Winter 2027.
