About the role#
This is a full-time co-op position for Summer or Fall 2027. You will join a team of Systems and Software engineers to work on flight management systems for military aircraft. This role requires you to work on-site in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and test software features for flight management systems.
- Coordinate with team members to deliver quality products to customers.
- Practice leadership and communication skills in a professional environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Advanced degree program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Ability to stay enrolled through the end of the internship.
- Experience with C, C++, ADA, or Python.
- Status as a U.S. Person.
It is helpful if you have experience drafting system or software requirements. We also value candidates with pilot or avionics experience, such as aircraft maintenance or DO-178 certification.
