    About the role#

    You will join the Group Risk Management team to advance AI capabilities within Operational Risk. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical execution. You will work alongside subject matter experts to identify and document AI use cases, ensuring that requirements are met throughout the development lifecycle.

    What you'll do#

    • Partner with Operational Risk subject matter experts to understand and document their AI needs.
    • Manage the documentation process for AI use cases, including intake and scoping.
    • Experiment with available Large Language Models (LLMs) to identify new opportunities and best practices.
    • Act as a change champion to support AI adoption across the business.

    What you'll need#

    • Leadership acumen and a drive to apply it in a business environment.
    • Experience with AI, specifically with prompt engineering.
    • Ability to create and run Python scripts.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong communication skills and a self-driven, analytical mindset.
    • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or Cybersecurity.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, paid 4-month internship for Winter 2027 (January to April).
    • The role is based on-site in Toronto, Ontario.
    • You must be returning to school after the work term or require this placement as a mandatory component for graduation.
