About the role#
The Enterprise Chief Controls Office (ECCO) is a first line of defense group that manages risk and operational standards. As an intern, you will support regulatory remediation initiatives and contribute to the bank's compliance posture. This is a full-time, paid, 4-month internship for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April.
What you'll do#
- Develop status reports for regulatory remediation and track project phases.
- Create and maintain team documentation, procedures, and training materials.
- Co-lead management action plans and provide oversight for remediation execution.
- Lead discussions regarding regulatory issues and develop recommendations.
- Partner with the first, second, and third lines of defense to coordinate programs.
- Deliver training sessions to improve risk awareness across teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a Canadian post-secondary institution in Risk, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Leadership skills and the ability to adapt to changing regulatory requirements.

- This role is based in Toronto, Ontario.
- The position operates on a hybrid work model.
- Candidates must be returning to school after the work term or require this placement as a mandatory graduation component.
