About the role#
As a Student Rad Tech, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Technologist to perform diagnostic procedures. You will help radiologists with imaging tasks and maintain a cooperative relationship with staff and physicians to ensure high-quality patient care.
What you'll do#
- Assist radiologists with radiologic imaging procedures.
- Select the correct protocol to obtain clear images and provide clinical documentation.
- Prepare equipment, instrumentation, and departmental supplies.
- Follow safety policies and ALARA principles to prevent harm.
- Coordinate patient care while performing assessments and documentation.
- Monitor supply inventory to ensure services continue without interruption.
- Adhere to all regulatory and accrediting standards.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Active enrollment in or recent graduation from an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technologist program.
- CPR/BLS Certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute upon hire.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain organization.
