About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Greenwood Village, Colorado. You will gain hands-on experience in the design of electrical systems for various commercial projects, including schools, universities, healthcare facilities, and office buildings.
What you'll do#
- Use REVIT to assist in system design.
- Work on electrical system design, lighting layouts, and power and fire alarm systems for commercial spaces.
- Visit construction jobsites to observe the building process.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge of or a willingness to learn AutoCAD and REVIT.
- An interest in the layout and design of electrical distribution.
- Basic knowledge of lighting design and controls, or a willingness to learn.
- Ability to perform basic electrical engineering calculations.
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Leadership ability and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- A self-starter mindset focused on learning and project growth.
