About the role#
Syska Hennessy Group is hiring an Electrical Engineer Summer Intern for our Boston office. This is a paid, full-time position for the summer of 2027. You will work on-site and participate in our intern education program, which includes lunch-and-learn sessions and project site visits.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers with the preparation of design documentation.
- Create electrical system drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Help with design calculations and the sizing of building electrical systems.
- Join engineers for field investigations and construction site visits.
- Participate in the intern education program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Electrical Engineering at an accredited university.
- Completion of at least your second year of studies.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of design and calculation software.
- Previous internship or co-op experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with the latest versions of MEP AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.

- Compensation: $24 to $28 per hour.
