About the role#
This is a 6-month co-op position within the Immunomodulation and Cell Reprogramming cluster of the Sanofi Oncology team. You will work in a laboratory setting in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to test novel cancer therapeutics using human cancer models.
What you'll do#
- Perform, analyze, and present results from experiments.
- Develop and execute cell-based assays to evaluate functional changes in human cancer models.
- Evaluate signaling cascades to better understand the biology of novel candidate therapeutic molecules.
- Communicate your findings effectively through written reports and oral presentations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, or a related field.
- Completion of at least your freshman year, with preference given to junior or senior students.
- Laboratory experience involving cell-based assays and molecular biology techniques.
- A background in immunology.
- Familiarity with genomic medicine, specifically mRNA and siRNA technologies.
- Strong attention to detail, scientific rigor, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for future visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts.
- Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Status: Full-time, paid position.
- Requirement: You must be enrolled in an accredited college or university for the duration of the co-op and be able to relocate to the office location.
