About the role#
This is a 6-month co-op position focused on the development of large volume drug delivery devices. You will work alongside experienced engineers to support the design, documentation, and analysis of systems that impact patient care. This role provides exposure to the full product development lifecycle, including regulatory considerations and cross-functional collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Support the design, development, and optimization of large volume device systems for drug delivery.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Manufacturing.
- Analyze experimental data and present findings to project teams.
- Support risk assessments and troubleshooting activities related to device performance.
- Participate in team meetings and design reviews.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date in 2027 or 2028.
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
- Proficiency with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and engineering tools.
- Ability to work in both hands-on and virtual environments.
- Interest in biomedical device development and patient-focused innovation.
Location & details#
- Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
- Status: Full-time, paid.
