About the role#
As a Kite Development intern, you will contribute to high-impact projects within our Tech Ops team. This role offers the chance to gain experience in biotechnology while working on initiatives that support our mission to develop cancer immunotherapies. You will participate in professional development, leadership presentations, and networking activities throughout your time with us.
What you'll do#
- Execute an analytics and digital innovation project focused on extracting value from Process Development and Manufacturing data.
- Develop dashboards, AI-enabled tools, and automated workflows to improve visibility into process performance.
- Apply data science, machine learning, and generative AI to evaluate opportunities for decision support.
- Partner with technical and business stakeholders to identify use cases and deliver scalable solutions.
- Generate recommendations for future digital transformation and advanced analytics initiatives.
- Present your final work during a presentation near the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program at a nationally accredited U.S. university.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to a full-time, 10-12 week internship between May and August.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Programming experience in Python or R.
- Experience with generative AI and AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Microsoft Copilot.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience integrating and analyzing data from multiple sources.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
