About the role#
Labcorp is seeking an RCM Accounts Receivable Intern to join our Finance Team. This role is based in Burlington, North Carolina, and operates on a hybrid schedule. You will join our 2027 Global Internship Program for an 11-week, full-time experience from June 1, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support strategic initiatives focused on accounts receivable, billing processes, and revenue cycle improvement.
- Analyze data and customer feedback to identify trends and process improvement opportunities.
- Support an RCM margin initiative focused on eClaims Assist and its use within physician office billing processes.
- Partner with Sales to gather customer feedback and evaluate interest in eClaims Assist.
- Assist with Sales engagement and analysis to support project recommendations.
- Collaborate with AR Support leadership, Sales, and operational teams on project activities.
- Organize and analyze project data to support informed business decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue cycle processes, efficiency, and customer experience.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business, Healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analytics.
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence and its potential business applications.
- Strong project organization, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across teams and navigate ambiguity as project needs evolve.
