About the role#
The Supply & Inventory Planning Intern will support our supply chain team by improving data visibility and reporting. You will partner with team members to analyze planning data, identify trends, and streamline recurring reports. This role focuses on developing actionable insights to support our service, inventory, and operational performance goals.
What you'll do#
- Analyze supply and inventory planning data to find trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and improve Power BI dashboards to track inventory levels and supply performance.
- Clean, organize, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Automate manual reporting tasks using Excel, Power BI, or AI-enabled tools.
- Explore practical AI use cases such as data summarization, exception reporting, and process documentation.
- Prepare clear summaries and recommendations for stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Rising junior or senior standing.
- Interest in supply chain planning, inventory management, and business process improvement.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Exposure to Power BI, SQL, Python, or other data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical mindset and the ability to work with large data sets.
- Effective communication skills and a willingness to learn new digital tools.

- Location: St. Paul, Minnesota.
- Term: Summer 2027 (12-week program from late May to mid-August).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $22-$25 per hour.
