About the role#
Bayer is hiring a Supply Chain Management Intern to join our team in Whippany, New Jersey. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role with a rolling term. You will work with cross-functional teams to solve operational issues and improve supply chain processes.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain operational problems.
- Review data inputs to identify and pull levers for process improvement.
- Support the development of deeper insights into complex processes like forecasting for specific SKUs.
- Help deploy digital tools, including Robotic Process Automation, to digitize operations.
- Extract and analyze data sets to provide insights for end-to-end supply chain optimization.
- Partner with internal and external customers to meet project objectives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Completion of at least one year of a Bachelors degree program.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or AWS Snowflake/ODBC.
- Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office and Excel Pivot Tables.
- Ability to manage multiple projects accurately under tight timelines.
- Strong communication skills for working with project teams and global organizations.
