About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects within our Human Resources Strategy and Operations team. You will gain experience at a biotechnology research organization while participating in professional development, leadership presentations, and team-building activities. The internship concludes with a final presentation of your work.
What you'll do#
- Perform assigned tasks accurately and in accordance with company policies.
- Work closely with your team to build subject matter knowledge.
- Attend department and team meetings or training sessions.
- Maintain accurate employee records following government regulations and internal policies.
- Provide answers to employee questions and solve problems as they arise.
- Assist in the development and improvement of HR processes.
- Compose communications regarding HR information and process changes.
- Prepare HR-related reports and surveys.
What you'll need#
- At least 18 years of age at the start of the internship.
- Full-time enrollment in a Bachelor, Master, MBA, JD, or PhD program, with continued enrollment in the following Fall semester.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Independent work authorization in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
- Ability to commit to a full-time, 10 to 12 week internship between May and August.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
