About the role#
Our Construction Delay team investigates why major construction projects fall behind schedule or exceed budgets. We analyze project records, timelines, and data to determine the cause of delays. You will work alongside experts in engineering, architecture, and construction management on high-profile infrastructure and energy projects. This role offers hands-on experience in consulting and data analysis.
What you'll do#
- Learn how major construction project schedules are built, updated, and analyzed to identify the root causes of delays.
- Use scheduling software like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to explore project timelines.
- Review construction schedules, drawings, progress reports, emails, and project records to gather facts.
- Analyze large datasets to spot trends and patterns that explain project outcomes.
- Help prepare expert reports, presentations, and client deliverables based on your research.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate findings clearly.
