About the role#
We are looking for a Structural Engineering Intern to join our team in Rochelle Park for the Winter 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time position that offers hands-on experience with civil and structural engineering projects, including bridges, highways, and toll plazas.
What you'll do#
- Assist structural engineers with the preparation of reports and contract documents.
- Perform computer aided design and drafting tasks.
- Check drawings and engineering calculations.
- Complete quantity take-offs and simple calculations.
- Conduct field inspections, which may involve working in inclement weather.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor's program for Civil, Structural, or a similar engineering field.
- Maintenance of good academic standing.
- Some exposure to CAD design programs.
