About the role#
Sensata Technologies is looking for a Mechanical Engineer Intern to join the team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in South Burlington, Vermont. You will work on technical projects within the engineering division and receive feedback from managers and peers throughout the program.
What you'll do#
- Build, test, and debug prototype samples.
- Collaborate with teams to solve technical problems and support high-volume production lines.
- Create engineering prints and specifications.
- Apply statistical methods to analyze data.
- Perform design verification using diagnostic and experimental methods.
- Evaluate equipment to establish operating data and conduct experimental tests.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S., M.Eng., or M.S. program in Mechanical Engineering at an accredited institution.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.
- Eligibility to obtain authorization under ITAR and EAR regulations.
