About the role#
The Cybersecurity Intern joins the Penetration Testing Services team within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance practice. This role offers hands-on exposure to consulting engagements focused on identifying and evaluating security vulnerabilities across networks, applications, and cloud environments. You will work alongside cybersecurity professionals to gain experience in offensive security, risk management, and testing methodologies.
What you'll do#
- Assist with information gathering and vulnerability analysis.
- Participate in security assessments and documentation.
- Support penetration testers in preparing client deliverables.
- Work on simulated real-world attack scenarios across various technology platforms.
- Build technical and professional skills during an eight-week program.
- Attend an on-site week at the San Jose headquarters for training and networking.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
- Foundational knowledge in offensive security.
- Interest in cybersecurity risk management and vulnerability management.
- Ability to develop technical and analytical skills.
