About the role#
This summer internship offers an in-depth look at the role of a Financial Consultant. You will work directly with our Private Wealth Management support team and individual Financial Consultants. The program focuses on business development and department growth while providing hands-on experience in the financial services industry.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data and build solutions using internal platforms.
- Use research tools to create spreadsheets, reports, and presentations for the Products and Services Team.
- Support the Wealth Planning and Strategy Team with insurance, estate, and retirement planning.
- Gain exposure to investment vehicles, regulatory oversight, compliance standards, and investor education.
- Learn the fundamentals of client relationship development and effective communication.
- Study for and pass the FINRA SIE exam.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a college junior, senior, or graduate student in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A strong academic record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- A basic understanding of investment solutions and financial markets.
- A collaborative work ethic.
