About the role#
StepStone is seeking undergraduate students to join the Real Estate team as Summer Analysts. This role provides experience across the real estate industry, including opportunistic, value-add, core, and credit funds. You will gain exposure to diverse property types, markets, and capital structures while learning about various real estate private equity investment strategies.
What you'll do#
- Underwrite and assess prospective fund manager materials to identify value drivers.
- Conduct market research using public sources and proprietary databases to analyze macroeconomic trends.
- Interpret financial analyses from fund managers, such as track records, financial statements, and fund models.
- Participate in meetings with potential partners and fund managers to support due diligence.
- Support full-time staff with coverage responsibilities, including asset and portfolio management.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrable analytical and quantitative modeling skills.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
