About the role#
We are looking for a Financial Advisor Intern to join our team in Overland Park. This full-time position provides real-world exposure to wealth management and financial planning. You will work directly with experienced advisors to learn how they build practices, manage client relationships, and plan for long-term financial goals.
What you'll do#
- Observe how advisors prepare for and participate in client meetings.
- Assist with financial planning preparation, data gathering, and internal coordination.
- Support follow-up tasks to ensure clients receive consistent service.
- Participate in prospecting, event support, and outreach initiatives.
- Help with marketing, networking, and client appreciation efforts.
- Receive mentorship from experienced advisors and firm leaders to build your professional skills.
What you'll need#
- Current college student, recent graduate, or early-career professional interested in financial services.
- Studies in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
