About the role#
As an Estimating Intern, you will support the preconstruction process for a variety of construction projects. You will work alongside experienced estimators and project teams to gain hands-on experience in the field. This role offers exposure to industry-standard estimating tools and project planning.
What you'll do#
- Prepare cost estimates and proposals.
- Review project drawings and specifications.
- Analyze historical project data to help develop accurate budgets and project plans.
- Collaborate with experienced estimators and project teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university.
- Preferred majors include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to conduct cold and warm phone calls to build relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Evidence of high academic achievement.
- Current or prior elected leadership experience is preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
