About the role#
As a Student Library Page, you will help maintain the library collection for the community. This role involves sorting materials and keeping shelves organized so that residents can find what they need. You will support the library staff with daily operations and assist with various library programs.
What you'll do#
- Sort library materials using established classification systems.
- Keep the collection accessible and tidy for public use.
- Assist with the processing of new or returned materials.
- Help library staff run community programs.
What you'll need#
- Ability to sort books and media accurately.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail when handling materials.
- A willingness to help with library programming.
- Current enrollment in a program such as Communications, Media Studies, Human Resources, or Psychology.
Location & details#
- Location: Kenora, Ontario.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Schedule: 8 hours per week with rotating shifts, which may include weekends.
- Compensation: $16.60 per hour.
- This is an on-site, part-time position.
