About the role#
Thriveworks is hiring a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern to provide compassionate, evidence-based care. This role involves a mix of telehealth and face-to-face sessions. You will work as a behavioral health generalist, treating a variety of clients including couples and children.
What you'll do#
- Provide evidence-based care through telehealth and in-person sessions.
- Conduct intakes and diagnose clients according to the current DSM-5.
- Help clients achieve measurable progress.
- Maintain a minimum of 25 client sessions with 30 hours of availability each week.
- Utilize modern clinical technology, including telehealth platforms and EHR tools.
What you'll need#
- Approval by the board as a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern.
- Current residency in Florida.
- Residence within 45 minutes of the Maitland office location.
- Graduation from an approved 60-credit hour program.
- Graduate or post-graduate experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety.
- Experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing according to the DSM-5.
- Pursuit of independent licensure.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Maitland, Florida.
- The role requires working on-site during a probationary period, transitioning to a hybrid model of 50% in-office and 50% remote work.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
