About the role#
Tolko Industries is looking for students to join the Prairie Woodlands team for the 2027 summer and fall seasons. You will work on operational field tasks, reforestation projects, and developmental activities. This role offers the chance to gain practical forestry experience while working under the supervision of professionals. Terms are available from May to August or May to December.
What you'll do#
- Support field work such as boundary layout, road and culvert inspections, and tree plant quality assessments.
- Complete various forestry tasks based on your specific location.
- Maintain safety program documentation and AGSafe COR records.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a forestry program or a related field.
- A valid Class 5 driver license before your start date.
- Ability to work in remote areas and in varying weather conditions.
- Capability to meet the physical demands of field work.
- A strong commitment to working safely.
- Prior forestry experience is an asset, though not required.

- Locations: High Level, AB; Meadow Lake, SK; Slave Lake, AB; High Prairie, AB.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027 and Fall 2027.
- Compensation: This is a paid position with an expected salary range of $55,000 to $64,000 per year.
- Relocation support and company housing may be available.
