About the role#
University Enterprises, Inc. is hiring a Student Assistant to support the Office of Compliance Assistance and Enforcement. This position involves a mix of administrative tasks and engineering projects. You will work directly with staff to assist with investigations and data management.
What you'll do#
- Organize and maintain enforcement case files.
- Create presentations and coordinate team meetings.
- Research appliance regulations and review test reports for accuracy.
- Perform market research to identify enforcement leads.
- Sort and filter data sets to locate outliers.
- Assist investigators and management with daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student at an accredited university.
- A minimum 2.0 GPA.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Enrollment in one of the following majors: Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
Location & details#
- This is a remote position.
- You must reside and perform all work within the state of California.
- This is a part-time, temporary role with a rolling term.
- Compensation ranges from $20.08 to $35.70 per hour.
