About the role#
The Digital Services Internship at Whitley Penn offers students hands-on experience in public accounting and advisory. You will work alongside professionals to contribute to client engagements and gain exposure to associate-level responsibilities. What you'll do#
- Assist in the development and implementation of digital solutions for clients.
- Support data analysis and visualization projects using Excel, Power BI, or SQL.
- Participate in automation initiatives using platforms like Alteryx or UiPath.
- Contribute to cybersecurity assessments and IT risk evaluations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs and deliver value.
- Document processes and create user-friendly guides or reports.
- Attend team meetings and participate in brainstorming sessions.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related major.
- An anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- A baseline understanding of data tools such as Excel, Power BI, or SQL.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn in a team-oriented environment.
