    About the role#

    Wiley|Wilson is hiring an Electrical EIT Engineer for our Lynchburg office. This is a full-time, entry-level position for recent graduates. You will work under the guidance of a licensed engineer on various projects across government, institutional, and private sectors. This role operates on a hybrid schedule.

    What you'll do#

    • Design electrical systems, including power distribution and lighting.
    • Create detailed electrical plans and perform load calculations.
    • Ensure designs meet all relevant codes and standards.
    • Prepare and review technical documentation to support project coordination.
    • Assist with field investigations and testing to verify system installation and performance.
    • Collaborate with peers and clients on project requirements.

    What you'll need#

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
    • Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) by the start date.
    • Strong analytical reasoning and interpersonal skills.
    • A dedicated work ethic.
    • Eligibility to work in the United States.
    • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
    • Experience with Revit is preferred.
