About the role#
This internship provides practical experience within the R&D department. You will support operations, contribute to project completion, and gain insight into product compliance. This is a full-time position for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Engage in product material compliance activities and verify the accuracy of certification records.
- Coordinate and execute certification projects while preparing document packages to support product compliance.
- Assist electrical and mechanical design engineers in determining compliance requirements.
- Update certification databases with product information.
- Coordinate compliance information with suppliers, engineering, and product management teams.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Seek feedback from managers and team members to improve your performance and skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Engineering in the United States.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high quality standards.
- Strong critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop solutions.
- Capability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset for sharing information and providing project updates.
Location & details#
- Location: Memphis, Tennessee.
- Work Modality: On-site or hybrid.
- Compensation: $20 to $34 per hour.
- Note: No relocation assistance or stipend is offered. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office.
