About the role#
AbelCine is looking for interns to join our Rental department for the Fall 2026 term. This internship provides students the chance to apply classroom skills in a professional workplace while gaining insight into the production industry.
What you'll do#
- Learn the rental process from the initial quote through to final check-in.
- Gain hands-on experience with a variety of camera equipment.
- Work alongside camera assistants on the checkout floor.
- Acquire the familiarity needed to rent and prep gear for future film projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited two or four-year college program.
- Ability to commit to at least 16 hours per week.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Dependability and a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Excellent communication and the ability to collaborate within a team.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Brooklyn, New York.
- This is a part-time internship for college credit only.
- This position is unpaid and does not provide a stipend.
- You must provide written verification from your school confirming you will receive college credit for this internship.
