About the role#
Action Behavior Centers is hiring a Behavior Analyst in Training for our Rising Stars program. This is a full-time, paid practicum for master's level students who are currently working as Behavior Technicians or Registered Behavior Technicians. We offer a path to becoming a BCBA with guaranteed hours and supervision provided at no cost.
What you'll do#
- Provide early intervention therapy in a center-based setting for children aged 18 months to 8 years.
- Collect data and implement individualized treatment plans for each child.
- Collaborate with BCBAs and team members.
- Complete BDS modules for 8 hours per week, scheduled off your direct care time.
- Sit for the BACB exam within 6 months of joining the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited master's program in Psychology or a related field.
- Status as a current Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician.
- Completion of at least 85% of required fieldwork hours (1700 out of 2000 hours).
- Completion of all restricted hours.
