    About the role#

    This internship focuses on the Cellular and Molecular Research division. You will explore how scientific innovation impacts the life sciences, diagnostics, and applied markets. The role spans 15 months and begins in December 2026. You will work full-time during the summer and transition to a part-time schedule of 12-20 hours per week during the school year.

    What you'll do#

    • Connect with new and existing customers to generate and qualify leads.
    • Assist with inbound and outbound sales activities while tracking campaign performance.
    • Manage customer and opportunity data within CRM systems.
    • Lead independent projects that provide value to the sales organization.
    • Analyze market trends and turn those insights into sales strategies.
    • Learn about the Agilent instrument portfolio and workflow solutions.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in the 2nd or 3rd year of a 4-year degree in a STEM field, specifically Biology or Biomedical Engineering.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience in student leadership or customer-facing roles.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    Location & details#

    • This is a remote position open to candidates based in Burlington, Vermont, or Boston, Massachusetts.
    • The role is paid at an hourly rate of $29.04 to $32.00.
    • Interns are eligible for paid holidays and medical benefits.
    • Agilent provides a laptop and necessary equipment for the duration of the internship.
