About the role#
This is a hands-on internship focused on fire protection system design. You will work on various projects while gaining experience in the construction industry. This position is based in Minneapolis and offers a paid, full-time opportunity with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Design automatic sprinkler systems using AutoCAD and AutoSPRINK.
- Create fire protection sprinkler systems that follow applicable codes and contract scopes.
- Prepare stock lists using the standard company format.
- Verify that all design details match project requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate or bachelor degree program related to Mechanical, Civil, or Computer Engineering.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
- Prior experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
- Knowledge of the construction industry is helpful.

- Location: Minneapolis, MN.

- Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour.
