About the role#
AltaGas is hiring multiple Finance Interns for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside professionals in areas such as Tax, Cash Processing, Midstream Marketing Finance, or Midstream Planning and Reporting. This role provides hands-on experience in financial planning, reporting, and marketing analytics within the energy industry. Interns participate in professional development sessions, networking events, and a capstone project.
What you'll do#
- Assist with financial analysis, reporting, and data validation.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking activities.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial information.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation or best practices.
- Support special projects and other business initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the 2nd or 3rd year of an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel, specifically with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis techniques.
- An analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
