About the role#
This Marketing Intern position supports the WKU Restaurant Group Marketing Division. You will report directly to the Director of Marketing and assist with various programs and campus activities. This is a paid, full-time opportunity available during the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Help execute weekly campus events and assist with admissions or other special events.
- Track metrics and take photos for every event.
- Perform pricing audits for campus restaurants and convenience stores.
- Host tabling events to promote social media, Grubhub, and VOC initiatives.
- Create and edit video content and infographics.
- Maintain and update social media accounts while tracking growth through analytics.
- Implement and supervise intercept surveys when needed.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Media Studies.
- Proficiency in Canva, along with a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A hospitality-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Bowling Green, Kentucky.
- Modality: On-site.
- Requirements: You must be able to work some Saturdays. The role involves physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing. You may be required to wear a uniform or use personal protective equipment.
