About the role#
Aramark is hiring a Residential Student Worker for food service or catering operations during the Summer 2026 term. This role is based at UNC-Wilmington and is open to students from various fields of study, including Nutrition, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Psychology, and Communications. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items following standardized recipes.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations like prep tables and service counters.
- Serve food to customers and keep service areas stocked.
- Maintain a positive demeanor and provide helpful customer service.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies.
- Protect company assets.
Note that this role involves physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods. You may be required to wear a uniform or personal protective equipment.
What you'll need#
- Ability to obtain or hold a food safety certification.
- Strong guest service skills.
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
