About the role#
We are hiring student food service workers for positions at Café 1789 at the University of North Carolina for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, on-site role open to students across various fields of study, including Nursing, Public Health, Nutrition, and Business Administration.
What you'll do#
You will help the team with food preparation and service tasks. Your work includes keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and ensuring equipment is well-maintained. You will interact directly with guests to provide service and follow all health and safety guidelines to keep the operation running smoothly.
What you'll need#
You must be a student currently enrolled at the University of North Carolina. We look for people who pay attention to detail and communicate clearly with their team and guests. You should be comfortable working in a busy environment and be available to work flexible hours.
