About the role#
This is a paid, on-site student worker position based at Campbell University. We are looking for students to support our food service and catering operations. This role is open to students across various majors, including Nursing, Civil Engineering, Sociology, Health Administration, and Business Administration.
What you'll do#
You will help prepare food and maintain a safe environment for guests. Your daily tasks include:
- Following standardized recipes to build food items.
- Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning workstations.
- Storing food according to safety standards.
- Serving customers and keeping service areas stocked.
- Following all company safety and sanitation policies.
- Maintaining a positive attitude while assisting guests and coworkers.
What you'll need#
- A willingness to obtain food safety certification if you do not already have it.
- Strong guest service skills.
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to handle physical tasks like lifting, bending, pushing, and standing for long periods.
- Willingness to wear a uniform or personal protective equipment as required.
