About the role#
Arcadis is hiring a Civil Engineering Intern for our Syracuse office. This position is for the Summer 2027 term. You will work within our Resilience business area, which focuses on protecting natural environments and water resources. You will join a team of engineers ranging from entry-level staff to experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to civil engineering design projects involving land development, restoration, and remediation.
- Handle task coordination, data compilation, and data interpretation.
- Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews.
- Assist with report writing, regulatory file reviews, and proposal development.
- Support project strategy, scheduling, and the preparation of cost estimates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS program for Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Preferred skills include experience with AutoCAD, GIS, and programming.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
