About the role#
Arcadis is seeking an intern for the Summer 2027 term to join our team in Raleigh or Cary, North Carolina. This full-time, paid internship provides exposure to environmental remediation and restoration projects within a consulting environment. You will work on multiple assignments at once and receive mentorship and technical support from our project teams.
What you'll do#
- Provide field and office support for site-wide monitoring and investigation activities, including the collection of soil, water, and vapor samples.
- Assist project teams with remediation system operations and permitted facilities.
- Handle task coordination, data compilation, and data interpretation.
- Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews.
- Prepare health and safety plans, reports, and proposals.
- Conduct regulatory file reviews and assist with project strategy development.
- Develop cost estimates and project schedules.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a BS in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Preferred skills include experience with AutoCAD, GIS, and programming.

- This position is located in Cary or Raleigh, North Carolina.
- This is an on-site, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
